Staying in touch

This coming Christmas is really special for my husband and I since this is the first Christmas that we will be celebrating as a family, my first baby was born just this November. We were so excited and thankful that God has blessed us with such a wonderful gift.  Unfortunately, most of our relatives lived far off that they weren’t able to come during the baptism.

My husband and I were thinking of sending our relatives with Christmas Photo Cards with our family picture.   It would be a great way to greet them during the holidays and at the same time, have the chance to see our baby.  The usual Printable Christmas Cards wouldn’t do since, we still had to add pictures of us, while with Christmas Photo Cards, it’s a card and a picture at the same time.  Sending out Christmas greetings such as Printable Christmas Cards and Photo cards is a great and fun way to stay in touch with the people, who in some way or the other; touched our lives.

For my son’s birthday

It was a beautiful Sunday morning, my family and I were having a picnic and spending some quality time together. My husband and son were playing catch and my daughter was at the swing with her cousin, when I noticed  a small crowd of people were showing off Remote control trucks.  My son was really amazed by what these toys could do, and asked us to buy him one.

When we got back to our house, my son rushed into the computer and was searching for toy models similar to what we saw at the park. And when he did found a site offering various kinds of toy models, he called our attention and pointed at a group of monster trucks manufactured by Cen Racing, these models were based on real monster trucks.  And he also seem to like model rockets by Estes Rockets,  I asked him if it was safe for kids his age to play with rockets, he said that  Estes Rockets is known for safe, quality and durable rockets, and his daddy will he helping him anyway so I shouldn’t worry about it.  My husband and finally agreed to get him one for his birthday.

My sister’s collection

My sister was really into collecting all kinds of cartoon characters such as Disney Characters, Brats, Hello Kitty and even classic characters such as Peter Rabbit and Betty Boop.   Her room is filled with all sorts of collectables and figurines that it looks like a small museum of character collectables.

She has a whole shelf in one display cabinet devoted to Beatrix Potter figurines and she also have a small corner of her room filled with Betty Boop collectables, like bags, shirts, frames, clocks.  Each part of her room is devoted to at least one character.  Kids love going to her room, and my sister don’t mind at all, she even reads them Peter Rabbit stories from her collection or lets them watch cartoons to pass the time.  She really loves her collection, but instead of watching them inside display cabinets, she lets them come to life in the hands of kids.  And if they break, there is always super glue to the rescue.

Shopping at your favorite store

My brother just give me a ring, he is inviting us to join his family for a vacation next month. Since my family is free by that time, my Husband and I agreed that we go together for a short vacation. My children are excited; they will have family bonding with their cousins. I start to pack our things to make sure everything is in shape. I have to do some shopping for my family present to my brothers children. I shop at my favorite store provider for Baby Clothes and children wear.

I included in my shopping a pair of Baby Booties and Baby Snowsuit in time for the winter. My brother is very happy for all our present. I told him to shop to the store provider, I usually shop, it has wide of baby clothes and children collection and to include they have been featured in numerous fashion and style magazines.

Being handy

I wasn’t really good at building or fixing stuff.  When my son asked for help with his carpentry project, I almost wrecked it with, and when my wife asked me to hammer a loose nail on one our cabinets, I hit my finger instead.  But as man of the household, I really wanted to build things with my own hands.

My wife was planning to purchase a new cabinet for our kitchen, but custom made ones were so expensive that we were having second thoughts.  Her father suggested we try RTA cabinets instead, though I was bad in building things, putting up RTA cabinets will be easy for me.   With easy assembling instructions, I was able to put up out new kitchen cabinet.  Though it was not the same of actually building it, I was still proud that it was I who put it up.  Aside from RTA  cabinets, there was RTA furniture that I was able to put up.   And the best part was, they were a lot cheaper than custom made cabinets and furniture.  I was happy with RTA products, it gave the feeling of being handy.

Tidying Up

My friends and I were really so bored that we decided to go to the mall and do some window shopping.  It’s much better than staying at home and doing nothing. I went downstairs to get a bite to eat before meeting up with my friend, I asked mom if I could go to the mall, she said she’s okay with it, and asked me to do a little thing for her before I go.  Tidy up the living room.

There was a replay of the football game last night that my dad and his buddy missed, it must have been one good game, the living room was a mess, the football was on the floor, they were scattered popcorn here and there, soda spill on the carpet and couch, my dad’s and one his buddy’s NFL jerseys were hung over the couch, I got them and hang it in the closed.  It was such a mess.  My brothers’ “missing Adidas shoes” were under the couch and I also placed them in the closet, no wonder they couldn’t find it.  Even my dad’s priced Louis Vuitton timepiece was left on top of the TV set, this was the first time he forgot to bring his watch upstairs.  It took me a long time than expected to clean and tidy up the living room, and I was glad I did, because mom gave me shopping money for a job well done.

It was a cold morning, and the weatherman on the morning news said that we will be now experiencing this kind of weather. I asked my sister to wear a jacket or sweater and her UGG boots that I gave her on her last birthday, to keep her feet warm. Making it all happen

I remember the first day it all happened.  It was a Friday night, and after a busy week at work, my friends and I couldn’t wait to unwind and have a great time.  We’ve been planning to go to this newly opened bar and disco, and check out the services and drinks are as good as they say.  Before meeting up with the rest of my friends, I went home first to change from my office clothes to something more casual, fashionable and at the same comfortable.

Looking through my cabinet, I decided to wear a very flirtatious shirt I got from Abercrombie and Fitch the week before.  Abercrombie and Fitch are a very popular brand when it comes to shirts, with their timeless and cool designs and style, it can suit your needs and preferences.  And since I wanted to be comfortable, I’m going to wear my True Religion jeans.  It had a nice fit and made from quality, authentic, inspired with the 1970’s look, that gave out a nice appeal and vintage feeling.  And to complete my sexy outfit, I’ll  be using my Gucci shoes.  With its unique design and style, it surely perks up any outfit, giving that sexy and at the same time, sexy look.  What I liked about Gucci shoes is the way the designers are able to fuse past designs to the present designs, it’s like history and modernity, meeting at one point and giving out a unique style.  After the final touches, like make-up and accessories, I went out to meet my friends. And that  Friday night, was the night I met my boyfriend, it was outfit that made it all happen.
