Causes of Hair Loss

Normally, hair loss is largely hereditary. DHT, a chemical that the body needs, causes the follicle that grows the hair to progressively get smaller until it eventually dies. Thus a good hair loss treatment should have a good quantity of DHT blockers to prevent further hair loss. Regeneration of already damaged follicles can come from application of Minoxidil and should also be found in a hair loss treatment.
