Skin Oil and Blackheads

2:41 pm Health

Blackheads are pores clogged with excess skin oil. Dead skin cell of the pore prevents natural excretion of the skin oil and causes it to solidify forming the blackhead. Left untreated, they can become sites of infection and develop into acne. Typical blackhead extractors are skin peels that remove the blocking dead skin cells. Application of acne treatments prevent the left over cavity from being infected.
